Onigamiden
The title is based on the novel by Takada Takafumi (2004, in 2 volumes), and focuses on battles between demons (oni) and humans , set in Kyoto , about 1,200 years ago during the Heian period.
The direction and screenplay are handled by Hirotsugu Kawasaki the director of Naruto: NarutoGekijôban Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chiteiiseki Dattebayo! in 2005. Instead the soundtrack will be composed of Ryudo Uzaki and character design will be furnished by Tetsuya Nishio ( Jin-Roh, Naruto, The Sky Crawlers ).
The film will be released on April 29th!
