Les Pretres, pop star for charity

With more than 500,000 copies sold across the Alps, arrived in Italy the French musical phenomenon of 2010. Consisting of two priests and a seminarian, Les Pretres, in the name of this French pop group has debuted at home at the top of Top50 and dozens of sold out concerts. Now their album 'Spiritus Dei' (for Carousel Records) also released in Italy, November 30: 16 pieces of sacred music and a set of standards, a track in Italian and Latin, specially recorded for our market, as well as an original title, 'Je Croise En Toi'.

Inspired by the phenomenon across the Channel The Priests, a trio of Irish priests who dug out half of Europe and America, and the need 'to raise funds to build a church closer to the shrine of Notre-Dame du Laus, in the valley of the Avance and help a school in Madagascar, Jean-Michel Di Falco, Bishop of Gap, choose to merge entries of two priests and a seminarian, Father Jean Michel Bardet, 46, pastor, Father Charles Troesch, 27, associate pastor, and the seminarian Vietnamese Nguyen Dinh Nguyen, 25 years. ''I was looking for funds and a friend told me of the success obtained by The Priests - said the Bishop of Gap - Cosi 'I looked good priests in the diocese in the song. For a CD whose proceeds go to these initiatives.'' Our priority'''remains to be priests - but ensure' the three priests -. The success and 'beautiful but ephemeral. We will make other records? For other needs' solidarity, 'cause it?'
